Our company has been selected for the 2020 2020 "Business Promotion Project for the Overseas Expansion of Japan's Recycling Industry," which was publicly solicited by the Ministry of the Environment.
In order to support the overseas expansion of Japan's recycling industry by fully taking into account the needs in the waste treatment and recycling fields of each country, we will carry out feasibility studies on projects that provide services related to waste treatment or construct facilities commissioned by treatment companies, etc., overseas within the next few years.

Solar panel reuse and recycling project in central Vietnam
▼Overview of this project
Vietnam is a country in Southeast Asia with particularly favorable conditions for solar radiation, making it extremely suitable for solar power generation.As of April 2021, it has an operating capacity of approximately 16.5GW, and as it has set an installation target of approximately 35GW by 2045, it is expected that a large number of solar panels will be disposed of in the future.
Vietnam, like Japan, has many disasters, and it is assumed that used solar panels will become a problem, just like in Japan today. Solar panels contain harmful substances such as lead and arsenic, so proper disposal is required. However, in Vietnam, there are no facilities that can properly dispose of waste, and illegal dumping and improper recycling are causing serious environmental problems such as environmental pollution and health damage.
By collaborating with local governments and companies and transferring the services and technologies that our company already operates in Japan, we will reduce the risk of environmental pollution caused by illegal dumping and promote the recycling of resources that do not end up in landfills.

First of all, we will carry out a solar panel reuse and recycling business targeting central Vietnam, and in the future we will expand it to all of Vietnam. Through our business development, we will contribute to solving the problem of environmental pollution caused by used solar panels, which has not yet become apparent. In addition, by promoting development that takes into account the ripple effect on neighboring Asian countries, we will reduce the environmental burden around the world, contribute to the formation of a sustainable society, and realize a society in which no one is left behind.
