“Barashinpic”: A program to learn the circular economy through “experience” and “dialogue”
“Barashinpic” is a new experiential program that teaches the circular economy by actually disassembling (“Barasu” in Japanese) products and understanding their material structures and recycling methods. By experiencing recycling sites firsthand and reexamining the relationship between manufacturing, consumption, and disposal, participants can gain a deeper understanding of the essence of the circular economy.
What emerges from the act of “disassembling” is creativity, dialogue, and empathy. Through this program, Barashinpic aims to realize a circular economy that transcends the boundaries between arterial industries (manufacturers) and venous industries (recyclers).
