We do not believe that it is enough for us alone to profit. Complying with the law is a matter of course, and we wish to engage with sincerity across all five parties of the principle of "five-way satisfaction"—good for the seller, good for the buyer, good for society, good for the worker, and good for nature.
Management Policy
Management Philosophy
Integrity
Gratitude
Ours is the work of giving a new role to the earth's finite resources and to things that have fulfilled their purpose. In doing so, we never forget our sense of gratitude, and we wish to revive them through reuse and recycling.
Inspiration
We want our work to inspire our customers, and at the same time to inspire ourselves. To this end, we offer our customers value beyond price alone, and we take on new challenges every day so that we can add a little extra to what our customers ask of us.
E
Responsibility for the Environment
We place the three ESG perspectives—Environment, Social, and Governance—at the core of our management and earnestly engage in our business activities.
In particular, the proper treatment of industrial waste is environmental conservation itself. Beyond mere legal compliance, we actively work on the circular use of resources and on emission reductions, making it our mission to minimize the burden on the global environment.
Basic Philosophy
Hamada Co., Ltd. recognizes that how our business contributes to global environmental conservation is one of our important management priorities. Aiming for harmony between the global environment and corporate activities, all employees—guided by our motto of “Integrity, Gratitude, and Inspiration”—give due consideration to environmental impact, actively address environmental issues such as a “decarbonized society,” a “circular society,” and the “realization of a society in harmony with nature,” and contribute to creating a comfortable environment and protecting the global environment.
Environmental Policy
Through our business activities centered on metal scrap recycling, general cargo transportation, industrial waste collection and transportation, industrial waste treatment, fluorocarbon recovery, solar panel reuse and recycling, and the demolition of structures and removal of equipment, we promote environmental management activities and pollution prevention in harmony with our business activities based on the following policies, and we pursue continuous improvement.
- In our business activities, we comply with environmental laws and regulations, ordinances, and other requirements to which we agree, while always considering the impact on environmental issues and striving to reduce environmental burden and prevent environmental pollution.
- Based on this environmental policy, we set environmental objectives and targets within technically and economically feasible ranges, promote the continuous improvement of our environmental management system and activities, and provide a framework for review as necessary.
- We assess the environmental impact of the environmental aspects associated with our business activities, set targets for reducing environmental burden and preventing pollution, and promote environmental conservation activities.
- To improve environmental performance, we pursue the continuous improvement of environmental activities through audits and reviews of our activities.
- We contribute to reducing society’s environmental burden through the expansion of our reuse and recycling businesses.
- Recognizing the finiteness of the earth’s resources, we work to reduce environmental burden across all business processes, including the prevention of global warming, the effective use of resources, and the management of chemical substances.
- We further raise the environmental awareness of all employees and work on these efforts together.
- We contribute to society through environmental activities by providing eco-friendly products and services and by cooperating and uniting with local communities and society.
- To promote mutual understanding, we disclose environmental information and engage in proactive communication.

Patent Obtained for a Method for Recycling Solar Cell Modules (Patent No. 7765110)
[Patent Overview] Because the glass, power-generating sheet, plastic, and other layers of solar panels are strongly bonded together, cleanly separating them has been a challenge. In this technology, the glass and adhesive layer are first removed from the panel as a single piece, and then a high-pressure water jet is directed at the adhesive layer remaining on the glass to cleanly strip away only the adhesive from the glass surface. This allows the glass to be easily sent for recycling without being broken.
Patent Obtained for a Frame Removal Device for Solar Cell Modules (Patent No. 6902240)
[Patent Overview] This device streamlines a separation process that previously involved a lot of time-consuming manual work. After a solar panel is firmly secured on a dedicated stand, the surrounding aluminum frame is pushed outward all at once, allowing the frame to be removed all together in a short time. It also automatically removes the junction box. This technology makes the panel disassembly process smoother and enables more efficient recycling.
