Metal Recycling
Metal Recycling
With the reliable discerning eye and processing equipment we have cultivated since our founding, we handle all kinds of metal scrap—iron, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and more.
Even complex waste that was previously full of impurities and disposed of at a cost, we transform back into valuable raw materials through precise sorting, compression, and cutting.
Metal Purchasing & Scrap Services
Steel Scrap
We handle a wide range of scrap, from demolition work to the iron scrap generated in factory manufacturing processes. We are committed to purchasing at fair prices at all times.
Point 01
Complete In-House Service
from Data Erasure to Disposal
Hamada can handle everything in-house, from data destruction to physical destruction. Of course, all processing work is carried out within the same facility.
Point 02
World-Class Performance:
Japan’s Only Data Erasure System of Its Kind
Hamada has a dedicated security room where only authorized employees are allowed to enter through an authentication system. Inside that room, data is magnetically destroyed using MagWiper, the first magnetic data erasure device in Japan to receive evaluation and certification from the NSA (U.S. National Security Agency).
Through the Hamada Group’s synergy, turning all metals into “reliable resources”
We bring together the expertise of our three Group companies to realize “large-scale, high-difficulty, high-added-value” recycling that is difficult for a single company to achieve. Facing the environmental issues of the entire industry, we present three synergies that optimize our customers’ business activities.
Point 01
Overwhelming processing capacity and a “no-wait”
intake environment
Through cooperation with the Group company “Okagami,” we have established a stable intake system on the scale of 6,500 tons per month. Because we are fully equipped with a vast yard and large-scale processing equipment, we smoothly accept large volumes and the heavy structures that other companies often refuse, resolving on-site stagnation.
Point 02
Advanced non-ferrous metal recycling
and specialized knowledge
Since “Nakano,” a non-ferrous specialist, joined our Group, even difficult-to-process materials such as the aluminum frames of solar panels and other high-difficulty materials are reliably recycled into raw materials through many years of know-how. Through proper appraisal based on meticulous inspection, we achieve both customer cost optimization and environmental compliance.
Point 03
Practicing the “resourcing”
that leads a circular society
We have built a strong network within the Group, from collection and transportation to advanced recycling. By fulfilling each role, this system minimizes waste and maximizes the value of resources, leading to the realization of a circular society.
