Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Junior SDGs camp experience program at the Osaka/Kansai Expo.
We held "Bara Sympic", a festival of resources where you can have fun sorting them, for elementary school students.
35 people participated on the day, and thanks to you, we were able to finish the event with great success.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated.
We received many positive comments from the participants, such as the ones below.
“After experiencing it myself, I realized that sorting is a difficult task.”
“The quality of the magnets and straps I created was higher than I expected, and I was very surprised!”
"I wanted to do this (disassembling a PC) at this Expo!"
Our company will continue to focus more on environmental education activities through hands-on experiences.
■Program content: Disassembling electronic equipment and making original accessories
This is an experiential program where you can actually disassemble familiar electronic devices and have fun learning about the value of resources and the importance of sorting and recycling.
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience making original resin accessories (magnets, straps, etc.) using electronic device parts.
We had fun and felt closer to recycling.
■About the Balasympics
``Bara Sympic'' is a collaboration between the ``arterial industry'' that makes products and the ``venous industry'' that turns waste into resources.
This project aims to realize a circular economy. (Co-sponsored by Hamada Co., Ltd. and Cooperative Co., Ltd.)
By actually coming into contact with resources, we aim to create a place for people to learn and think about the state of manufacturing, consumption, and waste disposal, and to have dialogue that transcends one's standpoint.
This time, the ``Bala Sympics'' was arranged for children and was sponsored by Hamada Co., Ltd.
